SANYO MC-2A TAPE BEATS – HAND

This is a Sanyo spy recorder from the 60´s (given by my girl). Its recording (more or less), playing and it has a tiny speaker inside, so you can take it with you and fake a Boombox. The fact that it has the size of an Walkman is really interesting.

The beat is created with samples from an old Hillwood drum computer from the 70´s.
I sliced the beat an recreate this pattern with randomised rev and filter. Than I put that on the tape and let the magic happen. Hope u enjoy this trip.

Reveal is the 2nd record of producer Sascha Bachmann. It is an ambient audio/ visual experience with beautiful analog video work by Adrian Cousins. Together they created a romantic view at the world with the goal to calm down our fast lives.
