Orb (Ball of Light) Tool Tutorial

How to make a quick and easy Light Painter’s Orb Tool using Battery Powered LED Christmas lights and some speaker wire

Materials Needed:
- Battery Powered LED Christmas Lights
- Electrical Tape
- Speaker Wire (20 gauge will work)
- 4 AA Batteries
Tools Needed:
- Scissors
- Wire Cutters
- Wire Strippers

Note: Since you will be spinning this orb tool at the same basic spot along the speaker wire, it will have a tendency to break the wires inside the insulation after repeated use. If this happens, you can cut the bad section out of the wire and replace it with a another piece of wire. Make sure you take care in connecting the wires back together and do not mix them up.
