For example, I want to turn off a device once temp is over 100F and turn on the device once temp is below 100F. Well, in order to keep the temperature closest to a single point we must first understand that the device works based on trigger on and off points. Since these trigger points cannot be the same we must choose the minimum value for the range such as a trigger on point of 99.9 and a trigger off point of 100, this combination would ideally keep the temperature closest to 100.
