Installing LED Strip Lights In Our School Bus Conversion: Ep 54

Our plan was always to light the skoolie with 12v led strip lights. They can be very bright, they’re insanely easy to install as you’ll see in the video. The whole thing is simple which I like. KISS and you’ll get through your bus conversion.

But you don’t want direct light with them so we wanted to bounce the light off of the ceiling. This factor contributed to our selection of blinds. See everything comes together with some planning. We bought the waterproof version because they will be easier to clean if it gets dusty up there. We bought one switch for each side which is really just a backup in case the remote breaks or we lose it. We bought a remote and a dimmer module to control the lights and we bought a splitter, an extension cable, and that little dohicky that connects the lights to our marine grade cabling.
