We are taping in with Fibafuse joint tape instead of paper tape because with Fibafuse,
you dont get a bubble even whe you go over a large gap between sheets with fresh pre-fill
in their. Normally with paper tape it would bubble if the underneath hasnt completely dried
and the gap was too large among other reasons

Forget paper tape?
FibaFuse is a mould resistant, paperless plasterboard tape made up of glass mat fibres.
It’s open fibre structure allows joint compound to penetrate the tape creating a stronger bond
thereby reducing the occurrence of “loose tape” and air bubbles.
The tape is easy to cut and maintains folds well for hassle free corners.
FibaFuse can be installed by hand or with the assistance of Automatic Tools like a Mud Box or Taper.
Apparently stronger than paper tape and mesh tape and flatter.
