Copper Foil Tape, Mellow the hum on a strat or any single coil guitar

This is a 2014 MIM Fender Standard HSS Plus Top, I tried the regular foil tape in my Squier strat that has tex mex pups but ended up taking it out and putting copper foil tape in the Squier also. The copper tape knocked down the hum a lot better than the aluminum foil tape. You can see how they are routing the MIM strat, you can put a humbucker in the middle and it’s also routed for 3 switch’s. ‘In part 2′ I will show how quiet the neck and middle pups are after the foil tape, I didn’t make a sound video of before the tape I’m sure you already know how much hum you you can get with single coil pups with just the paint from the factory. just put a brass nut in it but even with it being a Fender Yngwie Malmsteen on a Fender mim strat the brass nut is about 1 mm too short so I ordered a tusq graphite self lube nut on amazon under 10 bucks total, the seller is HDCustom Guitar Supply they had my tusq graphite self lube nut here in like 4 days with standard shipping from Wisconsin to Vegas so far they are a great seller plus their prices are one of the best and after changeing the nut to the graphtech I have not broke one string and it stays in tune so much better I also changed the string tree to a Fender rolling type, My next upgrade will be an angled bridge humbucker pick guard and a Seymour Duncan humbucker then decide on the neck and middle single coil Duncans. UPDATE, what I have found out is the American strat bodies have 2 holes drilled into the body and the Mexican have 3 holes but either way it makes it a lot easier to ad a switch for like a kill switch or what ever you wanted to ad. UPDATE What I found out is American strats have 2 holes drilled into the body and the Mexican strats have 3 holes, its probably for a jig but either way it still makes it a lot easier to ad another switch like a kill switch or what ever switch you want to ad with out trashing the finish on your guitar even though its under the pick guard.
