In this video I answer a question about whether adding an additional layer of poly to your greenhouse glazing will make a thermal dynamic difference. As you add more poly you gain in R-value but you may lose in transmissivity. This can be a real issue for plant health. One of the largest challenges in greenhouse design is keeping heat loss low while letting lots of light in.
