Pelican style cases are made of polypropylene type materials which fall under a category of plastics known as ‘low surface energy’. While you can mechanically fasten items to polypropylene, it is difficult to adhere anything to low surface energy plastics. This is where 3M VHB 4952 tape comes in.

Once you can bond things to polypropylene, mounting a front panel and mounting plate for electronics becomes easy!
